Everything you need for your first match, and the questions people ask most.
Quick start
- Install Padel Scorer from the Connect IQ Store and check your watch is on the supported list.
- Open the app and pick the match format: scoring rule, set length and number of sets.
- Warm up. The clock, heart rate and calories run, and recording starts here.
- Choose who serves first, then play. The watch shows the score and who serves next.
- When it's over, press START and save. The watch shows a link to your match card.

Scoring rules
- Advantage
- Classic deuce: win two points in a row from deuce to take the game.
- Golden point
- At deuce, the next point wins the game. The receiving team picks who receives it.
- Silver point
- One advantage is played. If it comes back to deuce, the next point wins.
- Star point
- Two advantages are played. On the third deuce, the next point wins.
Link your watch
Linking puts every match from your watch on your dashboard, including ones played before.
- On the watch, open the app's Settings → Link account.
- Your phone gets a notification. Tap it to open this site.
- Sign in if you aren't already: with Google, or with your email and a password or an emailed link.
- Tap Link watch to confirm.
No notification? The watch also shows a 6-character code. Enter it on the Link a watch page within 15 minutes.
Questions
Do I need my phone on court?
No. Scoring and recording work on the watch alone. Matches upload the next time the app opens with your phone nearby, or on Wi-Fi if your watch has it. The watch holds up to 20 matches waiting to upload.
Where do my matches go?
Each match is saved to Garmin Connect as a padel activity, kept in the app's history on the watch (the last 10), and uploaded here to get its own match card.
Who can see my match card?
Anyone you send the link to. Your dashboard and stats are only visible to you.
I pressed the wrong button.
Press BACK (or swipe right) to undo. You can undo up to 300 points, including format changes.
Can I swap UP and DOWN?
Yes: Settings → Swap buttons, on the watch or in the Garmin Connect app under the app's settings.
